Taylor Swift rang in the New Year cheering for her beau, Chiefs star Travis Kelce, during their game against the Cincinnati Bengals at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. Spotted in a suite, Swift rocked a Chiefs jacket, matching one Kelce sported during their Christmas game. The Chiefs initially trailed the Bengals by 4 at the break, but made a comeback to clinch a 25-17 victory.
Fans got creative with their support, holding up signs about Swift and Kelce. One standout sign featured their faces on dynamite sticks, playfully captioned “T-N-T, They’re Dynamite!”
Taylor Swift’s year has been full of big moments. Not only was she named TIME’s Person of the Year, but she also outdid Elvis Presley by having the most weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Thanks to her album “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” staying on top, she reached an impressive 68 weeks, beating Elvis’s 67-week record.
Swift’s been a regular at Chiefs games this season, showing up both at Arrowhead Stadium and for away matches.
“Football is awesome, it turns out,” Swift said in her TIME Person of the Year interview. “I’ve been missing out my whole life.”
The singer made her debut at a Chiefs game back in September and was also there for their Christmas match, where they unfortunately lost 20-14.
Other stars like Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and Hugh Jackman have been spotted at Chiefs games this season too.
Kelce opened up about Swift for the first time in late September on his “New Heights” podcast. He mentioned that life’s been quite a ride since Swift first showed up at one of his games.
Next up, the Chiefs will face the Los Angeles Chargers on January 7.
