A brawl at Citadel Mall in Colorado Springs, Colorado, resulted in one man losing his life and two others getting badly hurt, as reported by the police on Sunday.

The call about gunfire at the mall came in at 4:34 p.m. Responding officers found a man fatally shot. Two men with serious injuries from the shooting were rushed to hospitals, as stated by the Colorado Springs Police Department that evening.

The altercation involved two groups, according to the police. Both injured men had gunshot wounds, and a woman was also treated for minor injuries, not from a gunshot.

Several people have been detained as police investigate their roles in the incident.

After clearing and closing the mall, the police confirmed there’s no ongoing danger to the public.
