Cora Weberg, the ex-nurse from Puyallup Good Samaritan accused of swiping meds and giving at least 12 people hepatitis C, said yes to a plea deal this week.

People said she took drugs from patients and then used those very needles on them. Studies from the CDC and the Washington Health Department later said she was probably the one who gave those 12 people their hep C.

She got nabbed at the Canadian border in May 2018 but was let go without any charges.

Fast forward to almost five and a half years later: on September 1 this year, she got hit with a charge for messing with stuff people buy. Just four days later, she pleaded guilty. Now she could face up to 10 years in the slammer, cough up as much as $250,000, and get up to three extra years of being watched, plus maybe five years on probation.

As part of saying yes to the deal, she fessed up to tampering with painkiller vials.

And they yanked her nursing license back in 2018.
